Take time to listen to your body. We are constantly, throughout each day, focusing on the outer world. Taking care of yourself will look different for everyone so my message is really just encouraging you to find the ways that you can to take care of your physical, mental and emotional self. I view this response not as a disorder, but as a natural and primal reaction to stress, deserving of our compassion and empathy. Whether it's a car accident, a natural disaster, war, or other traumatic events, our bodies react to protect us
